Volunteers are the heartbeat of Foster Village! As a volunteer, you will be the hands, feet and face of a community of support, helping foster families know they are not alone and meeting practical needs at the moment when support is needed most.

Volunteer Opportunities (Individual and Group Sign-Ups)
Childcare Team
Foster Village Memphis hosts monthly Caregiver Gatherings where we provide childcare so parents & caregivers can have a couple devoted hours to connect. We are always looking for extra helpers with a desire to love on these precious children for a few hours while their foster parents take a well-deserved break.
Additional training is required.
Hospitality Team
If cooking and serving others is your gifting, then we would love your help in blessing our families! We offer the creation of Meal Trains for families who have just accepted a new placement, as well as providing meals at our monthly Childcare Gatherings. Meal Train volunteers simply claim an open slot and make (or pick up!) a meal and deliver to the family or our gathering.
Events & Fundraising
You can help with planning and preparing fundraisers and events throughout the year. Prior non-profit fundraising or event planning experience a plus. Flexible schedule and time commitment.
HUB/Welcome Packs
Volunteers help respond to Welcome Pack request by packing & delivering to Caregivers within in 48 hours of Foster Village receiving the request. Volunteers are also needed to help organize our HUB to make packing Welcome Packs as well as fulfilling other need easier.
Volunteering at our HUB is a great way for business/organizations or other groups to volunteer!
