Fill the Freezer for Foster Care Awareness!
From the beginning, Foster Village Memphis has been providing Welcome Packs to children entering foster care in the Mid-South. Filled with outfits, pajamas, shoes, toiletries, books, stuffies, puzzles, toys, and more - Welcome Packs help ease the transition for children into a new home and for caregivers to have on-hand the most needed items in those first few, critical days.
One missing piece has been meals, and with the donation of a deep freezer & the move into our new Resource Hub with more space, we are now hoping to provide just that. Now, with every Welcome Pack, each family will receive 3 dinner meals & a dozen on-the-go breakfast items.
Here's where you come in:
This Foster Care Awareness Month, our goal is to Fill the Freezer! Through purchasing meals at partner businesses, cooking meals with a group of friends, or donating below, you can do just that!
Get One, Give One
We've partnered with local businesses - Oh Grate! & Curbside Casserole - to make it simple & easy to purchase a meal for a foster family. When you shop for your family, you can purchase an additional meal to donate to the Foster Village Freezer. Click below to shop!

Cook with a Group
Get together with a church small group, book club, or neighborhood group to cook meals to fill the freezer! We have a grocery list & 3 recipes to make 12 family meals for less than $200 to make it simple for you to get together, cook, and support foster, adoptive, & kinship families.
